| March 17, 2009 - Deploying ISO 15926 in Open 3D Applications |
|
Presented by: Ian Robinson, Bentley Systems This presentation takes a look at the deployment of 3D applications based on ISO 15926 as the core data model and what this means to productivity, as well as heralding in a new era of collaboration between different modeling applications. It includes Bentley`s view of the applicability and power of ISO 15926 to manage large, distributed models and what engineering disciplines are currently covered by the existing RDL and WIP. The presentation also demonstrates an application that opens up the entire data model of an existing application (PDS) in real time, and viewing this information through the ISO 15926 data model, allowing this information to be reviewed, modified and enhanced in the process.
