The VET project was initiated in early 2005 through seed funding from the National Science & Technology Council and the National Institute of Science and Standards. Research and surveys were conducted across the industry and the final report was published in October 2005. By doing this research collaboratively, project participants were able to: 1) save money, resources, and time over those required for separate individual company research efforts; 2) attract top quality supplier and developer cooperation in a non-sales context, and 3) benefit from the input and experience of other industry collaborators. The VET project identified and assessed the potential value of emerging technology applications in facility logistics, construction, operations and related applications. Deliverable
