As FIATECH grows and matures our governance must also evolve. The FIATECH Roadmap has played a central role in focusing the organization on its vision, mission, and efforts. Volunteer Roadmap champions have been key organizers and catalysts for the Roadmap and the organizations efforts. Consistent with maturing the organization, over the past weeks, we have requested existing element champions to re-nominate for leadership of their respective elements following a formalized nomination process approved by the FIATECH Board of Directors. As a result of this process we have identified the need for co-champions for the following Elements:

  • Element 3 – Integrated Automated Procurement and Supply Network
  • Element 6  – Real-time Project and Facility Management, Coordination and Control
  • Element 8 – Technology- and Knowledge-enabled Workforce
  • Element 9 – Lifecycle Data Management and Information Integration

Leading a Roadmap element is coveted position within FIATECH, giving you a unique opportunity to make a real difference. You will also be making a valuable contribution towards delivering real bottom line value to your company and our members. FIATECH wants to engage key people from all across our membership in deciding what we do and how we do it, and we also want to ensure that our project activities are aligned with our members’ needs and desires. Roadmap Champions will play a vital strategic role in all aspects of our technical activities and their efforts will guide the future management and development of FIATECH.

Please read through the document, FIATECH Roadmap Element Champion Nomination Process, in order to familiarize yourself with the procedure. We would also draw your attention to the Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities document outlining the commitment that is required in order to fulfil this key role. If you are considering nominating then please note that one Nomination Form is to be completed by the nominee, and another by TWO members supporting your nomination. A roadmap champion serves a term of two years with re-nomination and multiple terms permitted.
