AUSTIN, TX, November 2, 2011- Fiatech has announced John Sanins, Solutions Executive, Bentley Software Group, and Andrew Verone, Vice President, Oracle, have been appointed to the Fiatech Board of Advisors. The two new members bring both software development and international experience with them to broaden the perspective of the Fiatech Board.
Sanins, from the United Kingdom, has over 26 years of experience in process plant design and engineering data management. His senior management responsibilities include solution strategy, product direction, and roadmap definition of plant design, analysis, and data management systems. He also has been involved with plant design engineering and engineering information management software.
Verone, with over 25 years of experience, leads Oracle's engineering and construction industry efforts for the Americas. His background includes implementing global information systems and knowledge management programs. He also has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and joint venture partnerships. Verone was recognized as a global finalist for CIO of the Year.

The Fiatech Board of Advisors is chaired by Jerry N. Gipson, Jr., Director, Engineering Solutions Technology Center, The Dow Chemical Company. The Board consists of 19 appointed members plus 3 staff members, with approximately one third of the members representing Owner/Operators, EPC's/Contractors and then all other project stakeholder groups.
